Our governance policy ensures we are managed effecienty & effectively with many internal control procedures to ensure our long term viability. We undergo routine internal and external audits to show we comply with all the NDIS rules and regulations.

Alans story

Alan is a young man with a severe intellectual disability.

He has Pica behaviour , is non verbal with a tendenecy to run off for no reason

This young man has no sense of traffic danger.

Alan requires one to one supervsion due to his condition where he needs constant supervision and constant prompting/ guidance to do very simple daily tasks.

Alan is benefiting from intensive one to one individual support in his own home 7 days a week.

Alan also attends one to one support for Community participation 5 days a week

Alan’s activities include public transport, going to the beach, bushwalking, trampolining, shopping and attending music therapy at the momement.

Alan requires one to one support in the home as needs assistance with showering, toileting, dressing and undressing activities. He needs carers to prepare all his meals and make most daily life skills decisions for him.

Alan has settled in well with his carers and enjoys his community participation program. The carers report that Alan loves Trampolining, playing in the waves at the beach and enjoys long walks in parks and in the bush.

Alan’s main goal is to master his every day duites such as washing, dressing and going shopping.

What is The NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers support to qualified individuals with a lasting and significant disability which influences their capacity to participate in their regular activities. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an independent agency that implements the NDIS. They are a national agency in charge of  NDIS for all of Australia.

Supports provided by NDIS helps people with disability to achieve independence, be more involved in the community, gain employment and improved wellbeing. In other words, NDIS supports are geared towards attaining individual goals which include but not limited to:

Gaining independence

Community involvement or participation

Educational advancement

Being gainfully Employed

Achieving significant Health and well being
